Matthew Paul Schroeder
Matthew has been working with the team at Advanced Vision Care for several months, learning from and training with April Holas, our Office Manager. He is currently a high school senior at Althoff Catholic High School. Matthew’s past work experience includes concert photography, tutoring, and working as a baseball coach for the St. Louis Gamers.
In the office, Matthew scans incoming patient files into the computer system. He also greets patients in person as well as by phone and helps them with their needs by finding answers to their questions! He also gets contact lens and spectacle orders ready for incoming patients. He enjoys working with the people around him and learns new lessons everyday. The joy of helping patients makes his experience worthwhile.
Matthew will be attending Greenville University in the Fall of 2018. He will major in computer science and play baseball for the school. He enjoys being with his friends and family as well as spending time outdoors. At Althoff Catholic High School, Matthew is on the Student Council Executive Board and a member of the National Honor Society. Matthew is a Hugh O’Brien Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar alumnus and is involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Special Olympics.
